Hay Fever
(Senior Capstone Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 473, April 2026

My capstone costume design for Hay Fever explores performance as both identity and manipulation within the Bliss family. Each character acts as an active performer, shifting personas to impact their guests. I focused on distinguishing these performative styles through silhouette, texture, and color, allowing each family member to embody a unique theatrical language.

Color theory plays a central role in the design, functioning as a system of hierarchy and psychological influence. The Bliss family is unified through a structured color relationship, while contrasting, analogous, and tetradic schemes reinforce tension, and emotional rhythm within the play.

Through this approach, the costumes support Hay Fever’s heightened reality, where social interaction becomes spectacle.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
(Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 422, February 2026

Reimagining A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 1969 San Francisco. Distinct visual worlds help the audience: the court embodies structure and control through tailored silhouettes and restrained palettes; the lovers reflect youth counterculture with looks inspired by late-1960s fashion; the fairies blur fantasy and psychedelia with layered sheers, iridescence, and embellishment; and the mechanics ground the story in working-class realism through worn, handmade garments. By merging Shakespeare’s narrative with a culturally iconic moment of change, the designs embody this change.

Silence of The Lambs (Design a Film)

SCAD Project, PROD 322, April 2025

Silence of The Lambs explores a claustrophobic world controlled by fear, anxiety, obsession, and manipulation. Where truth is utilized as a weapon, and women's voices must fight to be heard. I designed 2 looks for 3 characters to show this.

Hamlet (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 303, February 2025

I have decided to create costume designs for a Masquerade Ball during the Player's performance. The Masquerade Ball exemplifies how the characters are masking their genuine emotions and motives during this time especially Hamlet and Ophelia.

La Bohéme (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 222, May 2024

I created a series of detailed costume renderings for the musical La Bohème. Through research, sketching, and color exploration, I aimed to capture each character’s personality, social status, and journey within the narrative. This project allowed me to combine historical accuracy with creative interpretation.

Only Murders In The Building (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 103, May 2023

I developed Mabel’s wardrobe to reflect her bold, modern aesthetic and personality, drawing on her edgy style and the part she plays in the mystery. This project required detailed research, sketching, and creative collaboration to ensure all the characters’ costumes felt cohesive while staying true to their unique identities.

The Voyage
(Design Project Opera)

SCAD Project, PROD 422, March 2026

The Voyage costume design creates a cohesive system that explores hierarchy, power, and environment through structure and movement. Principals are defined by rigid silhouettes, strong shoulders, and hard materials, contrasted by the chorus’ soft, flowing forms and lighter tones that frame their dominance.

Repetition of structure versus fluidity reinforces character relationships and hierarchy. Earth Twins and Natives are grounded in natural textures, while Dignitaries exaggerate power through satirical scale, contrasted by the humility of the Dominican Monks. Rooted in historical research but abstracted for the stage, the costumes use texture and form to convey status, ideology, and transformation, uniting the world through visual contrast and cohesion.

Sex Education Aimee Gibbs ,
(Design a TV Show)

SCAD Project, PROD 322, May 2025

Designing 10 looks over 3 seasons of the TV Show Sex Education. Showing how the characters changed and evolved through the series. How their personal style helps tell who they are. Along with designing an Iconic item featured throughout the show.

Little Women (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 303, March 2025

I designed for Marmee, Greta Gerwig, Little Women. I drew inspiration from the idea that Flashbacks are brighter and happier than reality, using color to distinguish the warmth of memory from the muted tones of the present. The flashback costumes feature richer, more saturated hues that evoke happiness and how good time was in that movement. At the same time, the reality scenes are dressed in subdued, desaturated colors to reflect the weight of time and loss and the darkness that has now fallen.

Interview With a Vampire (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 303, February 2025

I created costume designs for Claudia during two key moments in Interview with a Vampire: when she was first found as a child and later at the Théâtre des Vampires in France to show her development as a character. I wanted to show how her body remains frozen in youth. My designs use clothing as a means of expressing both her emotions and her maturity. Highlighting how her wardrobe evolves to visually communicate her inner transformation, allowing her to act her age even though her body does not.

The Odd Couple (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 221, November 2023

I created costume renderings and collaborated on a 3D model for the play The Odd Couple. Working individually, I designed costumes that reflected each character's personality, era, and dynamics within the story. As part of a group of four, we brought the set to life by constructing a 3D model that captured the play's setting. This collaboration emphasized planning, attention to detail, and teamwork, resulting in a cohesive and functional design for the stage.

Wednesday (Design Project)

SCAD Project, PROD 103, April 2023

I designed costumes for Bianca Barclay, a character from the show Wednesday. This project involved analyzing Bianca’s complex personality and role within the story to create a wardrobe that reflected her elegance, confidence and power.
